José Carlos Gonçalves, President of the Municipal Chamber of São Vicente, presented a public review of his first ten months in office. During the 282nd anniversary celebration of the locality, Gonçalves acknowledged the short period but stated it has been possible to "begin transforming commitments into action".
Internal reorganization of the municipality was a key point, including the relocation of external services and the appointment of division heads after 12 years. An investment of approximately 1.5 million euros was made for cleaning a municipal warehouse.
In education, scholarships were doubled and higher education fees were subsidized, representing an investment of over 200,000 euros. Civil Protection received an investment exceeding 400,000 euros, and local associations were supported with 351,000 euros.
