The PSD/Madeira Parliamentary Group visited the Cattle Fair this Saturday, an event that, according to the social democrats, continues to establish itself as the largest primary sector showcase in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
At the end of the visit, deputy Válter Correia highlighted the importance of the fair, which has about 70 years of existence, emphasizing its role in promoting agriculture, livestock, and innovation among regional producers.
"The Cattle Fair represents the largest primary sector showcase in the Autonomous Region of Madeira," stated the parliamentarian, adding that the event allows farmers and livestock breeders to learn about new technologies, equipment, and solutions capable of increasing the competitiveness, productivity, and income of their operations.
Válter Correia also valued the presence of institutional stands at the venue, considering them an opportunity for producers to learn about the technical and financial support provided by the Regional Government and the European Union.
