The Regional Government of the Autonomous Region of Madeira approved the signing of several association contracts with various entities. These contracts aim to subsidize staff remuneration in educational establishments and the payment of school fees for family support, with a maximum global amount of 661,703 euros for the 2025-2026 school year.
Additionally, a program contract of 10,000 euros was approved to support the activities of the Cattle Breeders Cooperative of the Calheta Mountains in 2026. The Regional Government also decided on the declaration of public utility for expropriations necessary for infrastructure works, including the regularization of Ribeira da Lapa, the construction of check dams in Ribeira da Rocha, and the rehabilitation of ER 217. The sale of a rustic property in Caniço and the disposal of a plot for construction in Porto Santo were also authorized.
