JPP councilors stated they reject isolated measures and improvised solutions, advocating for a structural, integrated strategy widely debated with the population, based on a balanced and sustainable urban development model.
The party believes revising territorial management instruments could be an important step but warns this process should not be a pretext to alter the city's urbanistic model through increased high-rise construction without specialized opinions, rigorous studies, and public participation.
JPP argues that before discussing high-rise construction, essential questions must be answered, such as recovering vacant properties and rehabilitating municipal buildings to increase the supply of public and affordable housing. The party recalls its consistent stance on voting for urbanistic proposals, always demanding effective contributions for public or affordable housing.
