The São Vicente Municipal Chamber has decided to maintain the full rebate of the variable share of IRS (Personal Income Tax) in 2027. The tax rate will remain fixed at zero percent.
This measure allows taxpayers in the municipality to benefit from the entirety of the 5% of the tax that the local authority could collect. The proposal was approved by a majority vote during the public meeting of the executive held at the Boaventura Parish Council.
The council members from Chega voted in favour of the proposal.
