The SESARAM Clinical Simulation Centre of Madeira (CSCM) welcomed approximately 40 international specialists, investors, and entrepreneurs from the MedTech and HealthTech sectors.
The visit was part of the Demo Day event for the second edition of InnoMedCatalyst – Startup Accelerator Programme, organized in the region by Startup Madeira.
Attendees were received by João Vares Luís, vice-president of SESARAM, and Regina Rodrigues, CSCM coordinator. Hugo Dória, a subspecialist physician and coordinator of the CSCM's Neuroradiology Training Area, presented the centre, highlighting its pioneering role, integration into the hospital system, and the excellence of its teams in continuous training.
Established in 2012, the CSCM aims to enhance medical training and skills development in controlled, realistic environments, contributing to the ongoing improvement of care quality and the safety of patients and professionals.
