The Standing Committee of the Legislative Assembly of Madeira approved a total of 26 votes, ten of which were proposed by CDS-PP Madeira deputy Sara Madalena. All initiatives presented by the parliamentarian were unanimously approved.
Among the approved votes were congratulations to athlete Ivone Silva for winning national and world paragliding titles, to Banda Fixe for its 30th anniversary, to Bernardo Pereira for European Sea Kayaking titles, and to Madeiran athletes at the Mediterranean Games.
Also approved were Votes of Praise for Madalena Costa for her European free skating bicampion title, Votes of Solidarity for victims of floods in Nepal and an earthquake in Colombia, and Votes of Condolence for the passing of José de Jesus Barreto and victims of a road accident in Cape Verde.
