Visits for patients in the Emergency Department of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital in Funchal have now resumed.
This suspension of visits had been in place for a period of six days.
The decision to allow visits again aims to normalize the situation and permit family contact with patients admitted to the emergency services.
