Workers' Meeting May Affect Public Transport Tomorrow

A workers' meeting called by the Union of Road Workers and Metallurgical Activities of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (STRAMM) may cause temporary disruptions to public road passenger transport services in Madeira next Monday.

The meeting is scheduled to take place between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. During this period, a reduction in the operation of some routes may occur, depending on worker turnout. The Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT) has alerted operating companies to take measures to ensure service continuity.

The IMT acknowledges the possibility of schedule changes, delays, or even the cancellation of some routes. Passengers are advised to monitor information from transport companies and plan their journeys in advance to minimize potential impacts.
