ADN Madeira has requested clarification on how the Regional Health Service of Madeira (SESARAM) utilizes temporary employment programs. The party expressed concern over the successive use of these measures to fill roles that may correspond to permanent service needs.
In a statement, ADN Madeira emphasized that it does not contest the existence of these programs or the beneficiaries. However, the party deems it essential to ascertain whether continuous staffing needs are being met through the rotation of participants in temporary measures, rather than through regular recruitment procedures.
The party has asked SESARAM and the Madeira Employment Institute for detailed information regarding the number of individuals placed through these programs in the last five years, the duration of these placements, the number of roles successively filled by different participants, and how many of these individuals were subsequently hired. ADN Madeira also wants to know how many of the functions in question represent regular SESARAM needs and why permanent positions were not created or filled.
