The Portuguese Association for People with Special Needs – Association Sem Limites (APPNE-ASL) has formally contacted the Prime Minister's Office.
The aim is to promote the availability of the Multi-purpose Incapacity Medical Certificate (AMIM) in digital format on the GOV.PT application. The association believes this measure will represent a significant advance in accessibility, autonomy, and administrative simplification for people with disabilities.
In response, the Prime Minister's Office indicated that the proposal has been forwarded to the Office of the Minister of State and State Reform for consideration. APPNE-ASL will continue to monitor the process, advocating for solutions that lead to a more accessible and modern public administration.
