Chega Accuses Government of Delaying Territorial Continuity Model Implementation

Chega (CH) MP in the Assembly of the Republic, Francisco Gomes, has accused the Minister of Infrastructure and Mobility, Miguel Pinto Luz, of not yet having implemented the changes to the Mobility Social Subsidy, now designated the Territorial Continuity Model.

According to Gomes, the changes, which have already been approved by parliament and promulgated by the President of the Republic, remain unimplemented. Among the missing measures are the elimination of maximum subsidy caps and the integration of travel agencies into the electronic platform.

Francisco Gomes described the situation as an "abuse of power" and "an affront to the rule of law," calling for the immediate implementation of the changes, which he considers a fundamental right for citizens of the autonomous regions.
