The Liberal Initiative (IL) has expressed indignation over what it considers a gross and intentional non-compliance with the air mobility law by the Government of the Republic. According to the party, this situation compromises the proper functioning of democratic institutions.
The IL states it is unacceptable that beneficiaries of the territorial continuity mechanism are still prevented from exercising the rights granted by the new law, such as the elimination of maximum limits and the generalized use of CTT for reimbursements.
The party calls for urgent intervention from the President of the Republic to restore legality, considering that the citizens of Madeira and the Azores cannot continue to be subjected to this "immoral and illegal" treatment.
