The Machico Municipal Council has announced the ten chefs who will participate in the Gastronomic Experience, part of the 39th Machico Gastronomic Week. The event will take place from July 31st to August 9th at the Forte de Nossa Senhora do Amparo.
Under the "10 Days, 10 Chefs" concept, the initiative will bring together professionals from restaurants and gastronomic projects in Madeira and Porto Santo. For ten consecutive nights, each chef will present an exclusive menu, aiming to promote regional cuisine.
The lineup features chefs such as Eusébio Nunes, João Luz, Carlos Vieira, Carlos Sousa (Porto Santo), Duarte Oliveira, Gonçalo Trindade, Manuel Carvalho, João Lima, Akkal Bahadur, and Artur Mendonça. The Gastronomic Experience will have a limited capacity of 30 people per session, requiring reservation and payment. Registration opens on July 6th at the Machico Municipal Council reception. The event is open to individuals aged six and above.
