The Santana Municipal Council has approved a total exemption from licensing fees for the construction or reconstruction of first homes by young people.
The measure, approved through an amendment to the fee regulation, extends beyond residents to include emigrants and their descendants who have previously resided in Santana. The aim is to encourage young people to settle and emigrants to return to the municipality.
Additionally, a three-year full exemption from IMI (Property Tax) was approved for those building or acquiring their first home in Santana, as part of changes to the tax benefits regulation. The executive also allocated €208,000 for school meal support and nursery fees.
